It is so nice I came back for a second one.

I bought the 20lb blanket because I couldn't wait for the other sizes to be back in stock. I'm not in love with the color but the pink is great though. The blanket itself is AMAZING! It is perfectly weight distributed, superbly comfortably, and the cover is soft to the touch. The large size makes it work for two people. I fold the blanket in half lengthwise to concentrate the weight. Like other reviewers mentioned, and for all weighted blankets, you may get hot. You don't sweat to death in this blanket, but you should turn on a fan. Be careful and don't let your small dogs sleep under this. This blanket is hefty, PROVIDES GREAT COMFORT AND SUPPORT, and is the best new addition to my at home relaxation cave. I would buy another one for sure. That'd be great if you could transform this tech into an anxiety jacket for dogs, like the thunder coat.

I love that the cover zips securely all the way around (the zip doesn’t bother me at all), leaving the blanket place in the cover. Plus the cover is super-duper soft- I was skeptical of that when ordering but I LOVE it.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with this blanket.
I’ve tried a few of the generic weighted blankets on amazon (they’re all the same, really) and returned one of them. The Serenity Engineered blanket is definitely higher quality than those ones. The weight distribution is very good with the smaller squares, but there are still a few “dead” spots with fewer beads. That seems to be unavoidable with weighted blankets that use beads. So far every one I’ve tried has a dead spot or two, but this blanket has less in general.

Another thing I’ve noticed is that the actual weighted blanket (made of 100% cotton) is kind of... crinkly I assume this is due to the crispness of the cotton itself, but it does take away from the cozy factor for me.

All in all, I would definitely recommend this blanket to friends. The quality of the weighted blanket plus the softness and ingenuity of the minky cover with its zipper system put it above similarly-priced competition.
