We offer free standard shipping with every order within the USA.   As much as we’d love to bend the space or ship your weighted blanket at the speed of light … wait getting carried away again …, guess too much of the quantum physics from the college days still runs through our blood ;) , we just meant to say, the hard working men and women delivering our serenity engineered™ weighted blankets still have to use airplanes, trucks & cars to bring them to you.  So, please allow 1 to 2 business days for order processing & approx. 5 to 8 business days to receive your Serenity Engineered™ weighted blanket.  We promise, it will be worth the wait once you get to cuddle with one of our awesome weighted blankets.

Of course, if you are anything like one of our founders, Abraham, whom by the way always wants everything yesterday, we offer “expedited shipping” as an option during checkout, for an additional fee. Please allow 1 business day for processing, plus 3 business days to receive your order.

But a few facts to know before deciding on a return:

• Weighted blankets are a lot different than the typical blankets we all are used to.  so, we highly recommend using our weighted blanket for at least two weeks before deciding if it’s for you or not.  while weighted blankets provide instant calm, stress & anxiety relief for a majority of people, for some, it can take several nights to adjust to the weight of the blanket and be able to reach the optimal calm state.  weighted blankets are like a new mate. You just gotta give it some time...
• Weighted blankets are generally warmer than traditional blankets.   so, to get the best sleep, we suggest lowering the room temperature by a few degrees. Try this a few times to find your optimum room temperature.
• There are no set ways of using a weighted blanket.  use yours how it works best for you.
  • You can use the weighted blanket on top of your regular blanket, duvet or comforter, covering you from chest to toes, or
  • You can use the weighted blanket by itself (without your regular blanket, duvet or comforter), or
  • You can place the weighted blanket only on the lower half of your body
    
    So, don’t be afraid of playing around with your weighted blanket to discover the best position for the beautiful you. After all your home is your castle & your judgment free zone, do what makes you happy!!!
• It’s normal to feel differently with a weighted blanket on you as it indeed supposed to feel like a big hug. So, if you are not used to big cuddles, try closing your eyes, taking a few deep breaths, and remember, it’s just a cute cuddly blanket that loves you and is just trying to hug you and you can remove it any time.
• If you have any questions regarding your weighted blanket or duvet cover, feel free to contact us. The "instruction manual" card included with your weighted blanket or cover is a great guide to answer a good portion of your common questions.

To return your weighted blanket or duvet cover:

• Please send an email to support@serenityengineeredweightedblanket.com With your full billing name and order number so we can assign you a return id/insert.
• Please make sure your blanket & covers are completely clean (blankets & covers that are damaged, have any pet hair on them or not clean, will be assessed a $50 fee).
• Securely package the blanket & covers. Please include all the pieces in their original packaging.
• Customers are responsible for the return shipping fee. Please place the order's billing name inside the box.
• Returns postmarked later than 30 days from the date your package was first delivered to you, will not be refunded.
• Refunds will be issued in the original form of your payment within 7 business days of receipt of the package.

Please always consult with your physician prior to using any weighted blanket. 

• Please consult with your physician Regarding his/her recommendation on the weight & size of the weighted blanket you need to purchase & the duration in which you need to use it.
• Please do not use a weighted blanket on children unless approved by your physician. 
• Please do not use a weighted blanket on infants, babies & toddlers. Please keep your weighted blanket away from them.
• Please do not use a weighted blanket on an individual that is unable to move without help or independently. 
• Please do not cover one's face or head with a weighted blanket.
• Please do not use a weighted blanket on an individual who is confused, physically disabled, frail, has general body weakness or limited upper body strength, or might have a risk of bone fracture (i.e., osteoporosis), cognitively impaired or mentally disabled.

Due to the zipper system design of our blankets, they are best to be used with their covers. So, please be mindful of the total weight of the blanket plus its cover, when selecting the weight of your blanket. For example:

• Our 10-lb weighted blanket will actually weigh ~12.5 lbs. When used with its minky cover & ~11.5 lbs. When used with its cotton cover & 
• Our 15-lb weighted blanket will actually weigh ~19 lbs. When used with its minky cover & ~17.5 lbs. When used with its cotton cover & 
• Our 20-lb weighted blanket will weigh ~24 lbs when used with its minky cover & ~22.5 lbs when used with its cotton cover.
• Our 25-lb weighted blanket will weigh ~29 lbs when used with its minky cover & ~27.5 lbs when used with its cotton cover.

Weighted blankets together with their covers are generally suggested to weigh between 7% to 12% of user's body weight. But, each individual's preference & body tolerance might be different.
